Reverse Confetti May Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to Reverse Confetti's May Release Blog Hop! All the stamp sets, Confetti Cuts dies, and Quick Card Panels you've been seeing these last few days are now officially available in the Reverse Confetti store.

To wrap up our second birthday festivities, we are blog hopping today. If you've already started today's hop, then you should have arrived here from Amy Tsuruta's blog. If not, head over to the Reverse Confetti blog to begin! When you're finished here, you'll be heading to Leigh Penner's blog next.

I've saved my personal favorite from this release for today -- the new God Is Good stamp set. I love a good religious/inspirational set - check; I adore big, beautiful sentiment stamps - check; and I love, love, love hand-lettering and gorgeous font combos - check!

I started by watercoloring a yellow and coral background using a watercolor brush and re-inkers. Re-inkers are great when you want more intense hues. After it dried, I added some splatter using the coral color and then some gold mist.

I stamped the sentiment from God is Good in VersaMark onto vellum and heat embossed in gold. The vellum panel is stitched down with gold metallic thread and then accented with some wood veneer arrows. The watercolor background is popped up onto a white card base using foam tape.

Love this set so much! Eep!

STAMPSGOD IS GOOD

INK: VersaMark

PAPER: watercolor paper, white card stock

OTHER: yellow, pink, and coral re-inkers, watercolor brush, gold mist, vellum, sewing machine, wood veneer arrows, gold embossing powder, foam tape

Your next stop on today's hop is Leigh Penner. I can't wait to see what she has to share today!

Thanks so much for visiting!

I love the "shabby" metallic gold threading along the chevron chipboard embellies. All of these little details are what makes looking at your cards such a joy. Love the gold and warmth of this very uplifting and inspiring card.
